About the Role
Our organization is currently seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience working with children and adolescents as an RBT and will be responsible for providing direct behavioral intervention services to clients in their homes, schools, and other community settings. The Behavior Technician will be expected to use evidence-based practices to assess and assist in developing individualized behavior plans, as well as monitor progress and provide feedback to families.
Responsibilities:
Implement behavior plans and collect data to assess progress.
Provide positive reinforcement to encourage desired behaviors.
Monitor client progress.
Document client progress and maintain accurate records.
Educate clients and families on strategies for managing behaviors.
Collaborate with other professionals to ensure client needs are met.
Assess situations and make proper judgments.
Be willing to travel to families homes taking into consideration traffic conditions.
Requirements
Flexible availability
Ability to commute to the homes of the individuals and families we serve daily
Experience: 1 year of experience using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and strategies. (Those new to the field or have a desire to make a difference are encouraged to apply.
License/Certification: Behavior Analyst Certification Board-Registered Behavior Technician Certification
